Main tasks in the project and previous experience relevant to those tasks:
(1) Access to for several well characterized longitudinal cohorts of patients with storage of relevant biological material and with focus on outcomes; (2) Expertise in imaging modalities (3) expertise in assessment of health related quality of life as well as comorbidities, in particular conditions related to atherosclerosis. Tore K Kvien is Professor of Rheumatology at the University of Oslo and Head of the Department of Rheumatology at Diakonhjemmet Hospital, Oslo. His current major research activities include epidemiological and health service research, with a focus on frequently occurring diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis and ankylosing spondylitis
