Main tasks in the project and previous experience relevant to those tasks:
Main tasks: (1) generation, archiving and validation of data on treatment responses in animal models, (2) molecular profiling and genome-wide analysis of arthritic joints, (3) generation of new transgenic animal models for arthritis (4) establishment of TheRAbase, an RA-specific database for animal model storage and analysis, (5) integration, comparison and modeling of treatment responses in animal models and alignment to human disease, (6) identification and validation of novel targets, pathways and translational biomarkers, (7) develop novel therapeutic modalities for RA, (8) serve as a link to the BTDC project (IMI5)
Previous expertise: Animal models of Arthritis, transgenesis and gene targeting; molecular and Cellular pathways; genomic profiling; cellular assays; preclinical drug evaluation; miRNA bioinformatics; computational expression profiling; functional predictions; mouse biobanking; relational databases; chemoinformatics.
